New Horizons Computer Learning Centers Selected as a Finalist for the 2012 Microsoft Learning Competency Marketing Excellence Partner of the Year Award

Today, New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, the world’s largest independent IT training company, announced it was selected as a finalist for the Microsoft Learning Competency Marketing Excellence Partner of the Year Award.

“We are honored to receive this recognition from Microsoft,” said Earle Pratt, Chief Executive Officer of New Horizons Worldwide. “As Microsoft’s largest training partner, delivering over 40% of all authorized training worldwide, New Horizons always strives to align our efforts with Microsoft to empower people around the world to succeed through learning.”

Awards were presented in multiple categories, with winners chosen from a set of nearly 3,000 entrants worldwide. The Learning Competency Marketing Excellence Partner of the Year Award celebrates the Learning Partner that practiced leading-edge marketing and sales activities to drive skills and certification growth. New Horizons was selected as one of only three finalists among the nearly 3,000 submissions. The three companies selected as finalists demonstrated exceptional performance in market share shift from gray market content to official Microsoft Learning products, led the certification community, reached net new markets, or experienced significant growth in training market share. They also demonstrated alignment with advancing adoption and deployment of Microsoft technologies through training and certification, according to Microsoft.

“We are proud to recognize our 2012 Partner Award finalists for their outstanding commitments to solving customer challenges,” said Jon Roskill, corporate vice president, Worldwide Partner Group, Microsoft Corp. “Our partners are critical to our success as a company, and it is their creativity and innovative thinking in solving the unique needs of our customers that serves as the foundation for mutual, long-term success. We congratulate this year’s finalists on their achievements and look forward to following their continued success in the future.”

The Microsoft Partner Awards recognize Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions during the past year.

In addition to the Microsoft Learning Competency Marketing Excellence Partner of the Year Award finalist designation, New Horizons celebrates its 30th Anniversary in 2012. Through the years, New Horizons has trained over 30 million people worldwide, and transformed thousands of businesses.
